Man dies in Sirajganj road accident

A man was killed after the truck he was riding hit him with truck on the Bangabandhu Bridge road in Sirajganj today. The victim was Md Mostab Ali (40) is an engineer sub-assistant of the Sirajganj District Relief and Rehabilitation Office (DRRO) according to the police. Based on eyewitness accounts, Bangabandhu West Zone Police Station Officer in Charge Md Mosaddek Ali said a Dhaka-bound truck struck Mostab when he was crossing the road at around 10 am. The victim was transported into Sirajganj General Hospital where doctors declared him dead The OC stated. Police arrested the truck driver and took the vehicle. DRRO Officer Abdur Rahim told The Daily Star that Mostab was an engineer from the Ashrayan project. He worked on the two locations of Pabna in addition to Sirajganj.
